Night Care Assistant

About the role

Join Kingfisher House Care Home in Perth as a Night Care Assistant, providing compassionate, person‑centred support to residents during the night shift. You will help maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing for elderly and vulnerable individuals in a modern, riverside care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Deliver safe, responsive and consistent care throughout the night.
• Work collaboratively with the night team to create a warm, supportive environment.

Required profile

• A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive outlook and willingness to learn.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.

Required skills

What we offer

• £13.60 per hour.
• £500 welcome bonus after successful completion of a 3‑month probation.
• Full‑time and part‑time contracts up to 38.5 hours/week, night shift available.
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided.
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time basis) and ongoing training and development.
