Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor joins the Front Office team at 25hours Hotel The Olympia, ensuring guests receive enthusiastic service from the moment they check‑in until they leave. While the core night‑audit duties are essential, the role also focuses on delivering a memorable, lively experience for guests who are active after midnight.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit procedures, reconcile cash registers and verify the day’s receipts before the morning shift.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the night, addressing any requests or issues promptly.
• Maintain a welcoming reception environment, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Handle administrative tasks accurately and ensure all information is handed over to the morning crew.
• Promote a fun, energetic atmosphere that encourages guests to enjoy the hotel’s nightlife offerings.

Required profile

• Completed a formal training course in hotel operations.
• Some management experience in a hospitality setting.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to inspire both team members and guests.
• Outgoing personality with local knowledge of Sydney’s nightlife.
• Willingness to admit mistakes and learn from them.
