Night Auditor – Hotel Reception & Accounting

About the role

The Night Auditor at BreakFree Adelaide ensures smooth end‑of‑day financial processing while providing a calm point of contact for guests during overnight hours. Working from 11 pm to 7 am, you will combine front‑desk duties with accurate audit reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reception desk operations throughout the night shift.
• Conduct the nightly audit, preparing accurate financial reports for the next day’s trading.
• Collaborate with security to monitor building security systems and maintain a safe environment.
• Support the day team by ensuring seamless handover of guest information and operational tasks.
• Maintain vigilance over all hotel transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated individual able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Prior experience in night audit, hotel accounting, or related financial roles.
• Quick‑thinking problem solver who prioritises guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
