NDIS Disability Support Worker - South Queensland

About the role

Talent Hub Australia, a recruitment agency for the disability support sector, is recruiting NDIS Disability Support Workers on behalf of several employers in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. The positions suit people who want to help individuals with disabilities develop life skills and live more independently, with flexible rosters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to participants in their own homes and in the community
• Help participants achieve their personal goals and become more independent
• Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to each person's needs
• Support life skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and personal care
• Support participation in social, recreational and educational activities
• Provide personal care, including assistance with hygiene and dressing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided

Required profile

• Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not essential
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or a Working with Children Check
