National Sales Manager – Surgical Vision

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead its Surgical Vision business across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, you will shape and execute commercial strategies, drive revenue growth and build high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the ANZ Surgical Vision sales strategy, delivering revenue, market share and profitability growth.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high‑performance sales team, ensuring succession planning and talent development.
• Manage strategic customer relationships, delivering exceptional experiences for hospitals and procurement stakeholders.
• Collaborate across functions to optimise product launches, pricing strategies and overall commercial effectiveness.
• Contribute market intelligence and influence ANZ leadership on business strategy and compliance.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with significant sales capability and leadership experience, preferably in medical devices or capital equipment.
• Proven success leading geographically dispersed teams and delivering sustained revenue and market‑share growth.
• Strong experience in sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline governance and sales‑force effectiveness.
• Ability to engage senior hospital, procurement, clinical and commercial stakeholders and knowledge of healthcare compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
