National Business Manager – Pet Food Brand

About the role

Join SavourLife, a purpose‑driven pet food brand within the SunRice Group, as the National Business Manager. You will own key retail partnerships, shape commercial strategy and drive growth for one of Australia’s leading pet nutrition brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with national pet specialty retail partners, acting as a trusted commercial advisor.
• Develop and deliver joint business plans that create mutual value.
• Lead commercial negotiations, trading terms discussions and top‑to‑top customer engagements.
• Design and execute promotional strategies to drive sustainable growth and improve trade spend effectiveness.
• Use sales, category and shopper data to identify opportunities, optimise performance and provide recommendations.
• Manage forecasting, reporting and performance tracking to support business planning.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Category, Finance, Insights and Supply teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in National Account Management or a similar commercial sales role.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to use data and insights to influence decisions.
• Proven negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills, including senior‑level engagement.
• Excellent presentation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Finance, Category or Insights teams.
• Background in FMCG, grocery, pet category or specialty retail is highly regarded.
