National Business Development Manager

About the role

The National Business Development Manager will join a fast‑growing division of a leading Australian manufacturer. Reporting to the General Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for high‑value corporate accounts and drive revenue growth across the nation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new corporate accounts across supermarkets, international QSRs, petrol & convenience chains, and major fleet/retail groups.
• Partner with the GM to set sales targets and execute a high‑end go‑to‑market strategy for corporate operators and specifiers.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor products and major account reactions to inform long‑term strategy and product development.
• Maintain rigorous CRM discipline, prepare high‑level quotations and deliver professional presentations to prospective customers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of business development experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, freight or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to build and leverage a network within Tier 1 corporate customers and influence C‑suite and operational stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Tenacious hunter mindset with a solution‑first attitude and a track record of closing high‑stakes deals.
