About the role

Innisfail State College is seeking passionate teachers to join its Prep to Year 12 community for the 2027 academic year. Opportunities span a range of subjects, including Science, Special Education, Hospitality Practices, Health & Physical Education, Mathematics, and Humanities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for Years 7‑12 in the assigned subject area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive learning environments.
• Engage with students, families and community partners to support positive outcomes.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional Queensland Corrective Teacher (QCT) registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Pre‑service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, providing practicum reports, mentor statements and unofficial transcripts.
