Multi-Hotel Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Multi‑Hotel Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across our Accor portfolio in Tasmania. Reporting to the Director of Commercial, you will identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships and support our sales strategy in a multi‑hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and segments.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
• Promote Tasmania as a destination to increase room‑night bookings.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet growth targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored hospitality solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within the hotel or tourism industry.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑driven.
• Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as required and represent the brand at industry events.
