MRI Supervisor

About the role

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) Victoria is seeking an experienced full-time MRI Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight and workforce development across several MRI sites in the West Metro Melbourne region. Reporting to the MRI Manager and Regional Manager, the role covers a diverse fleet of MRI systems and vendors and supports advanced MRI services and continuous improvement. Travel to other sites in the region, such as Footscray, Williamstown, Altona, Spotswood, Werribee and Sydenham, is flexible.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across multiple MRI sites
• Ensure high-quality imaging standards, optimised workflows and safe, compliant practices
• Support staff training and assessment and standardise MRI practices across sites
• Drive clinical excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in MRI
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
• Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
• AHPRA registration and Radiation Use License
• SMIRT MRI accreditation (Level 1 minimum)
• Willingness to work the required rostered hours and to travel between sites

Required skills

• Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems and platforms
• Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)
• Understanding of MRI operations, workflow and quality systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)
