Mobile Developer – React Native

About the role

Restive is seeking a Mobile Developer with strong React Native experience to create high‑quality mobile applications for a major retail client. You will design, build, and maintain seamless, customer‑centric experiences across shopping, payments, loyalty, and account management on both iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and platform teams to define and deliver new mobile features.
• Develop scalable, maintainable applications using React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Implement polished, responsive UI/UX that meets accessibility and performance standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services for payments, loyalty, account management, and notifications.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality, security, and performance best practices.
• Optimize app performance across a wide range of devices and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong commercial experience developing production‑grade React Native applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for mobile development.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
