About the role

Join Qantas' new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide as a Mobile Back-End Developer. You will design and deliver robust, scalable back‑end services that power seamless digital experiences for our customers, ensuring fast, secure and reliable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, delivery and development of mobile back‑end systems.
• Write high‑quality, clean code and contribute hands‑on to critical features.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical partners to meet business outcomes.
• Ensure reliability, performance, security and data‑privacy standards are met.
• Mentor junior developers and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Proven track record building backend‑for‑frontend solutions.
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud‑based design.
• Self‑motivated, accountable and able to inspire others.
• Curious, collaborative mindset with a test‑and‑learn approach.
