Mobile Application Developer – Remote (Australia)

About the role

We are seeking experienced mobile developers to build BJAK’s AI‑powered Neobank app for Android and iOS. The role is remote within Australia and involves delivering clean, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences from problem definition to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new mobile features for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX and AI‑assisted functionalities.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product and AI teams to launch customer‑facing features.
• Maintain and improve app quality using analytics, crash reports and user behaviour data.
• Raise standards for mobile UX, reliability and performance across the product.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade Android, iOS or cross‑platform mobile applications.
• Demonstrated ability to ship apps used by real users, with evidence such as app links or repositories.
• Good product sense, UX judgement and attention to edge cases.
• Self‑starter who can take ownership without heavy guidance.

Required skills

• Android development (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS development (Swift/Objective‑C).
• Experience with mobile APIs, debugging, release processes and handling production issues.
• Familiarity with analytics, crash reporting tools and performance optimisation.
