Menswear Designer – Fashion & Product Development

About the role

We are seeking a creative and commercially‑driven Designer to join our Cotton On Menswear team. You will work across jackets, shirts, accessories, fleece, graphics, tees and knits, shaping product that feels relevant, inspiring and culturally connected.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop collections that align with the brand DNA, customer needs and commercial goals.
• Translate trend research and buying direction into wearable, on‑trend products.
• Own the design journey from concept through to sample, ensuring accuracy, quality and fit.
• Create CADs, tech packs and detailed design specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, Trend and Production teams to align ranges and meet delivery timelines.
• Use performance insights and feedback to continuously refine and improve the product offering.

Required profile

• Qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Designer with a strong eye for trend‑led, customer‑focused product.
• Ability to lead and develop a reporting team.
• High attention to detail throughout design and development stages.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how product decisions impact performance.

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator (CAD creation).
• Hand sketching ability.
• Knowledge of garment construction, materials and development processes.
