Membership Consultant - South Perth

About the role

Merse Wellness is a premium wellness brand combining bathhouse experiences with recovery and longevity therapies, and is opening a new location in Morley. It is looking for a Membership Consultant based in the South Perth office to build the membership base, develop local relationships and help create a community from the ground up. This is described as a non-typical sales role focused on membership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive membership growth through lead generation, networking and community engagement.
• Build relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, allied health providers and community organisations.
• Convert enquiries into long-term members through an exceptional customer experience.
• Develop referral partnerships and corporate wellness opportunities.
• Represent Merse Wellness at community events, expos and promotional activations.
• Keep CRM information accurate, follow up enquiries, prospective members and first-time guests, and encourage Google reviews and app subscriptions.
• Work with marketing and operations teams to support campaigns and the Morley launch.
• Act as a brand ambassador and uphold professional presentation standards.

Required profile

• Driven to meet and exceed KPIs, with a strong interest in results.
• Outgoing, well-presented and able to build rapport and trust.
• Proven success in sales, business development or membership sales.
• Confident engaging with people from all walks of life.
• Proactive, organised and customer-focused, with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Full Australian working rights; First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality or health is highly regarded but not essential.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and confidence using CRM systems.
