About the role
City Heart Medical, a long-established medical practice serving the Rockhampton community, is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionist on a full-time basis. The role provides customer service and administrative support to patients and clinical staff, with rostered weekday and Saturday/Sunday shifts on a rotational basis.
Key responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Invoicing and receipting
Required profile
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Desirable: experience in a general practice using Best Practice and Microsoft Office, and experience in a health environment
Required skills
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Positive, interpersonal personality and ability to multi-task
- Typing skills are advantageous
