Medical Receptionist (Casual) – Southport

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join our Southport clinic on a casual basis. As the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors, you will ensure a smooth and professional experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, manage registrations and schedule appointments using our booking system.
• Handle patient triage, answer queries and provide information.
• Process payments, issue receipts and oversee billing and invoicing.
• Perform back‑office duties such as outbound calls, data entry and reporting.
• Collaborate with doctors, radiologists and other healthcare staff to support clinic operations.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and patient care.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous receptionist experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Comfortable working with various databases and software systems.
