Medical Imaging Technologist

About the role

Portland District Health is looking for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join its team in Portland, Victoria. The role covers a diverse clinical load across several imaging modalities, with modern equipment and a rotating roster including shifts and on-call duty. It is an ongoing full-time position; part-time or casual arrangements up to 80 hours per fortnight will also be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services as part of a professional team in an acute hospital setting.
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Contribute to the multi-disciplinary team through good communication and organisation.
• Work across General X-ray, CT, Theatre and Mammography.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Victorian radiation use licence.
• Eligibility for and completion of a police record check or NDIS worker screening check, a Victorian Working with Children's check, proof of right to work in Australia and current immunisation status.
