Medical Evidence Delivery Manager

About the role

The Medical Evidence Delivery Manager will lead the operational delivery and governance of Medical Affairs evidence‑generation activities across Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on externally funded studies, including investigator‑initiated research and real‑world evidence initiatives, partnering with investigators, medical leaders and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational contact for externally sponsored research (ESR) activities from proposal review through contracting, study maintenance and close‑out.
• Coordinate research agreements, fair market value assessments, financial support and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Track timelines, budgets, vendors, risks and contractual deliverables, proactively identifying issues and coordinating responses.
• Support publication review, study close‑out, operational metrics and continuous improvement of evidence‑delivery processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, health sciences, clinical research or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or managing clinical research, ESR or comparable regulated projects.
• Proven project‑management capability across multiple collaborators, milestones and risks.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and practical problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Working understanding of research governance, documentation, contracting, financial and compliance requirements.
• Ability to build effective relationships with investigators, research partners and cross‑functional collaborators.
• Experience with research agreements, study budgets, vendor management and evidence‑management systems.
