Medical Affairs Director, Oncology

About the role

The Medical Affairs Director, Oncology will shape and execute the Medical Affairs strategy for oncology products across ANZ, driving launch readiness, customer‑centricity and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the ANZ Medical Affairs vision, aligning with business objectives and patient needs.
• Lead MSL executional excellence and ensure high‑quality field medical engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to deliver meaningful value.
• Promote cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, sales, regulatory affairs and broader teams.
• Inspire and develop large field and office‑based teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Partner across functions to implement strategic initiatives and achieve business goals.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and influence diverse teams and functions.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape with a patient‑centric mindset.
• Credo‑based leadership, ethical decision‑making and compliance focus.
• Experience navigating complex stakeholder networks and delivering cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ability to lead with agility and foster resilience within teams.
