Mechanical Fitter - 2:1 Roster, Sino Iron

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is recruiting FIFO mechanical fitters for an ongoing 2:1 roster with a leading mechanical contractor at Sino Iron. The project is a construction project works site with immediate starts available. It suits a local fitter wanting to move into FIFO, or a long-term FIFO fitter looking for a new role.

Key responsibilities

• Perform construction project works as a mechanical fitter.
• Work a 2:1 roster: one week of 11.5-hour days followed by one week of 11.5-hour nights.

Required profile

• Current and valid Australian driver's licence.
• Working at heights and confined spaces certificate (within 2 years).
• Construction white card.
• Australian certified trade certificate.
• High risk licence for EWP (essential).
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role in Australia.
• Clean shaven; national police clearance within 12 months.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
