MC Driver – Nhill Changeover – Melbourne Based

About the role
GTS Freight Group is seeking experienced MC Drivers to operate B double combinations on the Melbourne‑Nhill changeover route, departing Hoppers Crossing at 7:30 pm, Monday‑Friday. This is a secure, full‑time permanent position offering modern equipment and a supportive work‑pattern approach.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure fitness for duty.
- Refuel and maintain cleanliness of the allocated equipment.
- Report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays promptly.
- Occasionally load or unload cargo as required by operational needs.
- Apply load restraint according to National Load Restraint Guidelines.
Required profile
- Current MC licence.
- Minimum 2 years MC line‑haul experience.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and punctual.
- Clear communicator with a strong safety commitment.
- Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation (BFM).
Required skills
- MC licence operation.
- Knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
- Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation.
