Mathematics Teacher (Permanent Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics teacher for Pinjarra Senior High School, commencing Term 1 2027. This permanent full‑time position will involve teaching secondary students (Years 7‑12) across a differentiated curriculum aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging mathematics lessons for Years 7‑12, including ATAR courses where applicable.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students while maintaining high expectations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices and school programmes.
• Participate in school and community activities, fostering positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Engage in evidence‑based decision‑making and reflective practice to continuously improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a current registration to teach secondary Mathematics in Western Australia.
• Strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience or interest in ATAR Mathematics.
• Commitment to whole‑student development, academic excellence and student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
