Mathematics Teacher – Full-time (Term 4 2026/Term 1 2027)

About the role

The Mathematics Teacher will foster analytical thinking and confidence in problem‑solving, creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment for secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons using a range of teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families, provide effective feedback and maintain accurate student records.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and implementation aligned with the Science of Learning and Catholic education frameworks.
• Participate in professional learning programs, including the Catalyst initiative, to continuously improve teaching practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Teaching (Mathematics) and registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute.
• Eligibility: Australian citizen or permanent resident with Working with Vulnerable People clearance.
• Accreditation in accordance with Work, Teach and Lead policies of Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn.
