Marketing Manager - Rebrand & Growth

About the role

A 100% Australian-owned online thoroughbred auction platform, founded in Sydney in 2014 and running weekly auctions across Australia, New Zealand and the US, is building its marketing function from the ground up. The Marketing Manager reports to the COO and works with the Sales Manager to run a rebrand and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the business through its rebrand
• Set marketing budgets and measure ROI across channels
• Analyse raw customer data to segment customers and choose channels
• Build and grow the marketing team internally as revenue grows
• Sourcing and briefing subcontractors such as social media and lead generation specialists
• Work closely with the Sales Manager on budgets, qualifying leads and what marketing delivers to sales

Required profile

• Proven scale-up experience in a rapidly growing business
• Experience building a brand or leading a business through a rebrand
• Track record of liaising and collaborating with sales teams and managers
• Hands-on, team-oriented approach and experience scoping and commissioning specialist contractors

Required skills

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Numerical mindset with budgeting and finance experience

• Base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 plus superannuation, negotiable based on experience
