Marketing and Communications Specialist - BLS Public Safety

About the role

ZOLL's Acute Care Technology division develops and delivers medical devices and software for EMS, hospitals, public safety and military customers, including AEDs, trauma kits, ventilators and temperature management solutions. The Marketing and Communications Specialist (BLS) coordinates the development and design of promotional materials for the BLS/Public Safety division, building brand awareness among fire, police, EMS/ambulance and other public safety agencies and supporting the marketing and public relations teams. The role is a fixed-term engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, edit and produce artwork for promotional, educational and communication materials tailored to public safety audiences.
• Collaborate with ZOLL Global Marketing on detail aids, leaflets, posters and localised content.
• Launch and run marketing campaigns such as social media, email, advertisements, webcasts and websites.
• Create educational material, sales presentations, proposals, correspondence and reports for the BLS/Public Safety teams.
• Ensure marketing collateral is accurate and compliant with company and public safety regulatory requirements.
• Support the events team with booth artwork, approvals, budgets and attendance at trade shows and first responder events.
• Provide administrative support to marketing leadership, maintain communication with stakeholders, coordinate employee meetings and prepare presentations.
• Research campaigns and public safety tenders, and attend sales and marketing meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of marketing experience; experience in the medical device, government or public safety sector is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing or a business discipline.
• Strong interest in the public safety and emergency services sector.
• Experience delivering high-volume projects with tight deadlines, suited to a fixed-term, project-based engagement.
• Desirable: relevant sales or government/tender experience.
