Manufacturing Test Lead

About the role

Anduril Industries is hiring its first Manufacturing Test Lead for the Australian site. You will own the end‑to‑end manufacturing test discipline across PCBA bring‑up, bottle integration, system check‑out and vehicle Factory Acceptance Test, and align the test framework with the US plant.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the full AU manufacturing test process, setting acceptance criteria for each test stage.
• Own the test ecosystem – design, build or procure PCBA rigs, sub‑system stations, system check‑out benches and vehicle FAT facilities.
• Drive convergence to a common, version‑controlled test framework using NixOS, GUI‑first execution and a curated error‑code library.
• Lead and grow a local manufacturing test team, coordinating with US counterparts.
• Serve as the test‑quality interface, handling IQ/OQ/PQ, NCR/CAPA and line‑down response.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience establishing or rebuilding a manufacturing test capability across PCBA, sub‑assembly and system‑level testing.
• Hands‑on debugging in Linux‑based test environments and ability to work independently on hardware and software issues.
• Experience hiring, mentoring and leading test engineers.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain an NV2 security clearance.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• LabVIEW, TestStand or C/C++ for test automation.
• Linux command line, NixOS configuration.
• USB, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces and related instrumentation.
• Instrumentation, signal integrity, power systems, sensors and actuators knowledge.
