Managing Consultant – Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Managing Consultant to drive business development across its payments‑focused consulting, marketing, and technology offerings. You will leverage Mastercard’s extensive transaction data, platforms, and security solutions to help financial institutions, retailers, and other partners solve complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture an industry network to generate new sales opportunities.
• Analyse client needs deeply and propose tailored solutions that address critical business problems.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from needs identification through proposal writing, contract negotiation, and execution.
• Develop persuasive sales‑support materials such as presentations and business cases.
• Lead post‑implementation reviews and identify follow‑on opportunities.
• Contribute to project delivery using core consulting skills, including project management and subject‑matter expertise.
• Create intellectual capital, such as white papers on specialist industry topics.

• Strong ability to understand client challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
