Manager - Transaction Diligence, Private Equity

About the role

EY Parthenon's Transaction Diligence team advises corporates, private equity investors and governments on investment decisions. As Manager - Transaction Diligence (Private Equity), you will lead financial due diligence across fast-paced buy-side and sell-side transactions for leading PE clients, giving financial insight that supports acquisitions, exits and portfolio value creation. The position is hybrid and based in Warringah, Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for Private Equity transactions
• Analyse financial performance (quality of earnings, working capital, cash flow) to support investment decisions and deal structuring
• Deliver client-ready outputs while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting junior team development

Required profile

• Experience in Private Equity-focused financial due diligence engagements
• Strong exposure to buy-side and sell-side transactions
• CA, ACA, CPA or equivalent qualification
• Ideally: experience with PE investors, portfolio companies or lenders; ability to turn financial insights into investment recommendations; experience mentoring juniors
