Manager, Finance Transformation

About the role

Deloitte's Finance Transformation team is looking for a Manager to help CFOs redesign finance functions through large-scale transformation, operating model change and technology-enabled improvement across planning, reporting and performance. The role tackles big issues such as cyber, trust, resilience and digital transformation, and includes mentoring, coaching and leadership programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale finance transformation programs, working with client CFOs and finance leaders to define strategy, design future operating models and improve how finance supports the business
• Redesign structures and processes, embed stronger business partnering and enable change through technology solutions across finance and accounting
• Bring leading practice insight across finance processes, data and technology, including ERP and EPM solutions covering planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, profitability, cost management and performance analytics
• Help grow the practice by spotting business development opportunities and turning them into tangible outcomes
• Lead the team by coaching, mentoring and creating an environment where people can build their careers

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in corporate or finance organisations, including 4+ years in professional services or consulting
• Experience leading integrated finance transformation programs across operating model design, process improvement, data and technology
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, with the ability to bring leading practice thinking to client challenges
• Experience leading teams and driving transformation initiatives through complexity and change
• A collaborative leadership style with a genuine interest in coaching and developing others

Required skills

• ERP and/or EPM solutions supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, profitability, cost management and analytics
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Exposure to robotics and artificial intelligence in a finance transformation context is valued
