Management Accountant

About the role

Pacific Energy is seeking a Management Accountant to lead financial performance across its renewable energy business in Perth. You will partner with functional teams to drive cost efficiency, provide strategic insights, and ensure accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close and produce timely management accounts with variance analysis.
• Evaluate performance against budgets and forecasts, identify key drivers and deliver actionable insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning across all functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build data‑driven plans and monitor performance for risks and opportunities.
• Identify efficiency and cost‑optimisation opportunities and improve financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified CA, CPA or equivalent international qualification.
• At least 3 years post‑qualification experience in management accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana (desirable).
