Management Accountant – Home Care (Permanent)

About the role

The Management Accountant will join the Finance team in South Perth, supporting the Home Care division of a growing not‑for‑profit organisation. You will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial reports, board packages and leading the budgeting and forecasting process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of a newly acquired Home Care business, including journal posting and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated month‑end management reports with insightful commentary on variances.
• Own the annual budgeting, forecasting and reporting cycle for Home Care.
• Review and ensure budget integrity across multiple business units.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for growth opportunities.
• Support operational leaders with expense coding, income recognition, capex reporting and adjustments.
• Develop ad‑hoc financial models to test scenarios and predict ledger trends.
• Prepare standing journals, accruals, pre‑payments and other accounting entries.
• Collaborate with Financial Accountants on ABS surveys, prudential compliance and aged‑care reporting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Management and Financial Accounting.
• Proven ability to analyse financial trends and forecast outcomes.
• Experience preparing management reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with executives and operational managers.
