Mammography Supervisor

About the role

Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, is the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria, with more than 19 clinics serving private hospitals, community clinics and specialist centres across Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool. It is seeking a Mammography Supervisor to provide supervision and direction to radiographers and staff so that a high-quality service is delivered in the West metro region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a high-quality, efficient medical imaging service for patients and referrers
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for the clinic, working with other site managers on rostering across the region
• Coordinate ongoing education, support and professional development for staff
• Liaise with radiologists, modality leaders and management to ensure a high level of service provision
• Build community networks to help clients understand and be satisfied with the service

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Medical Imaging with AHPRA registration
• Proven leadership ability and experience training staff
• Extensive experience and competency in mammography
• A demonstrated patients-first approach to service provision
• Police check and Working with Children check
