Maintenance Electrician

About the role

Baiada, one of Australia's largest poultry producers, is looking for a qualified electrician to join its Mount Kuring-Gai team. As a Maintenance Electrician you help ensure efficient production and smooth plant operations. The position is advertised as temporary, with a genuine opportunity for a permanent position and career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Minimise downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for plant improvements and automation.
• Manage project work, including installing and commissioning new equipment.
• Carry out breakdown repairs and troubleshoot plant issues.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.

Required profile

• Australian Electrical Trade qualification and experience in the manufacturing industry.
• FMCG industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience with PLC systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
