Maintenance Asset Health Controller

About the role

The Maintenance Asset Health Controller will monitor real‑time machine condition data from the dispatch centre at Dawson Mine in Moura, Queensland. Working closely with dispatch controllers, reliability engineers and maintenance teams, you will help prevent unplanned downtime by diagnosing faults and guiding operators on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Remotely monitor asset health data throughout the shift and act on system alerts.
• Diagnose emerging electrical and mechanical faults and provide clear guidance to field operators.
• Collaborate with equipment operators, dispatch controllers and maintenance personnel to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Drive preventative maintenance initiatives to reduce component failures and improve safety.
• Adjust maintenance schedules, document activities and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Trade qualification relevant to mechanical or electrical processes, or a tertiary/advanced diploma in a related field.
• Completed training: RIIRIS301 (Risk Management Process), RIIWHS301 (Safety and Health Investigations), RIICOM301 (Communication), RIIRIS402 (Risk Management Process G2).
• Experience with asset health monitoring systems, computerized maintenance management, or fleet management software.
