About the role

HammondCare, an independent Christian charity providing aged care services, is looking for a Lolly Trolley Volunteer to deliver treats to residents in its residential aged care facility in Waratah. As part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, volunteers bring smiles, laughter and a little sugar-filled fun to each resident's day. Regular visits can help improve quality of life and reduce isolation.

Key responsibilities

Take a trolley of sweets around the facility and share them with residents
Visit regularly to brighten residents' days
Act as a social visitor, helping people feel less isolated

Required profile

18 years or older
NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
Available to meet between Monday and Friday, 2pm and 3:30pm
