Logistics Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Officer to support operations at a manufacturing facility in Jandakot, Western Australia. This is an initial six‑month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international and Australia‑wide freight movements, ensuring compliance with Australian Customs, Defence Export Control Office, and dangerous‑goods regulations.
• Maintain effective communication between supply chain management and operations teams to meet expectations.
• Prepare commercial invoices and all required export documentation.
• Compile and maintain job‑related correspondence and documentation.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure accurate, timely finished‑goods transfers, goods issues, and shipping activities.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence with safe and efficient operation experience.
• Qualified to handle dangerous goods.
• Experience picking and packing high‑volume deliveries.
• Strong manual‑handling capability and safety awareness.
