Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Hallam, Melbourne team. You will manage domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while collaborating with freight forwarders, overseas offices, and internal supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate air, sea and road freight bookings for domestic and international shipments.
• Prepare and maintain export documentation such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and Certificates of Origin.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and overseas offices to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor shipment status, communicate updates and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, schedules and shipment files.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide administrative assistance during peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination or export shipping.
• Hands‑on experience with international air and sea freight.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and export documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
