About the role

Join the inaugural Punthill Tuggeranong team as a Local Host, supporting the launch of our first Greater Canberra hotel. You will work closely with the Super Host and Hotel Manager to deliver exceptional experiences for corporate travellers staying in our 76 self‑contained apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level guest service at all touchpoints, including check‑in, check‑out and during the stay.
• Address guest enquiries and resolve issues creatively and promptly.
• Assist with daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination of housekeeping, maintenance and front‑desk activities.
• Promote on‑site facilities such as the conference space, gym, pantry and lobby fireplace.
• Support the Hotel Manager in establishing operational standards for the new property.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small, dynamic team.
• Customer‑focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for guests.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast‑moving start‑up environment.
