Litigation Officer

About the role

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Litigation and Legal Services team as Litigation Officers. You will handle less complex litigation matters under senior guidance, contributing to the delivery of legal advice and dispute resolution across multiple Australian locations.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake less complex litigation, including debt recovery, tax technical and administrative law matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, court documents, and correspondence.
• Manage case timeframes and support dispute resolution processes.
• Appear in legal proceedings and hearings for assigned matters.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively to support senior litigators on more complex cases.
• Share knowledge, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with enhancements to litigation practices, policy technology, and reporting.
