About the role
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Litigation and Legal Services team as Litigation Officers. In this junior position you will handle less complex litigation matters under the supervision of senior staff, gaining valuable experience in legal research, case management and court proceedings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefs for counsel.
- Draft court documents, correspondence and other legal paperwork.
- Manage case timelines and support dispute resolution processes.
- Appear in hearings and legal proceedings for simpler debt recovery, tax technical and administrative law matters.
- Collaborate with senior litigators on more complex cases and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with enhancements to litigation practices, policy technology and reporting.
Required profile
- Motivated and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple case timeframes.
