Level 2 ICT Helpdesk & Device Replacement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Device Replacement Officer to join our ICT support team on a short‑term contract. You will lead the rollout and replacement of laptops, desktops and mobile devices across Queensland, ensuring a smooth transition for end‑users with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and hand over new laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Provide on‑site support during device changeovers and troubleshoot desktop issues.
• Assist with operating‑system and application deployment, including imaging and standard builds.
• Log and resolve incidents and service requests following ITIL‑aligned processes.
• Manage device logistics such as returns, stock movement and site support.
• Travel within Queensland as required (up to five days at a time).

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop support, end‑user computing or field services within a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle manual handling of equipment up to 15 kg.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence is highly desirable.

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
