Legal Contract Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Legal Contract Specialist to join our Legal Team in Melbourne. The role involves preparing, reviewing and maintaining contract documentation, ensuring compliance with policy positions and assisting in the resolution of contract‑related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate and execute contracts and ancillary documents.
• Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, variations and correspondence.
• Support project teams with contract interpretation and administration.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve contract negotiations.
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years’ experience in a contract specialist role.
• Qualifications in law, business, construction management or a related field preferred.
• Experience in the vertical transport or construction industry is highly regarded.
• Sound understanding of contract law and construction procurement processes.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and organisational skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills for building stakeholder relationships.
