Lecturer – Transdisciplinary School

About the role

The University of Technology Sydney is seeking a Lecturer for its Transdisciplinary School. This full‑time, continuing position involves teaching, research and engagement across a range of innovative programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and develop the new pan‑university Transdisciplinary Electives program.
• Teach modules within the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation, Diploma of Innovation and short‑form learning, as required.
• Contribute actively to the School’s transdisciplinary research agenda.
• Engage with industry and public‑sector partners to support challenge‑based learning.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in teaching and creating innovative transdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Research focus in transdisciplinary methods or one of the School’s designated themes, with a track record of academic publications or industry‑focused outcomes.
• Evidence of collaboration and networking with education and industry partners.
• PhD conferred (or near completion) required for Level B appointment.

• Base salary ranging from $127,119 to $150,453 per annum (AUD) plus 17% superannuation.
