Lecturer (Level B) – Midwifery (Full‑time)

About the role

The School of Nursing and Midwifery at Griffith University seeks a full‑time Lecturer (Level B) to join its midwifery team. You will focus on teaching, course coordination and curriculum development while contributing to learning‑and‑teaching scholarship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery lectures and tutorials.
• Coordinate midwifery courses and develop curriculum aligned with a woman‑centred, continuity‑of‑care framework.
• Conduct learning‑and‑teaching research or scholarship and disseminate findings.
• Supervise Honours and higher‑degree research students where eligible.

Required profile

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as a midwife.
• At least a Master’s degree in midwifery (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated midwifery teaching experience in the tertiary sector.
• Desirable: Ahpra endorsement for scheduled medication and enrolment in or completion of a doctoral program.
