Lecturer – Hospitality Management

About the role

SCI is seeking a Lecturer in Hospitality Management to deliver undergraduate and graduate units in a face‑to‑face environment. The successful candidate will combine evidence‑based teaching practices with industry insight to enhance curriculum delivery and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals and workshops.
• Develop curriculum, new course modules and unit materials.
• Design, mark and compile assessments, including assignments and examinations.
• Explore and implement diverse teaching methods and assessments, responding to research and feedback.
• Contribute to teaching innovation and academic service functions, including committees, meetings and student activities.
• Engage in pedagogical research, publish academic work and supervise relevant research projects.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline.
• Professional experience and sound knowledge of the hospitality sector.
• Commitment to scholarly activities that inform teaching theory and practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability in course design and sustained lecturing/tutoring.
• Strong organisational skills and flexibility to teach across varied schedules.
