About the role
We are seeking an experienced community services professional to join our academic team as a Lecturer. This sessional, full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality education to Bachelor of Community Services students and supporting their development into skilled practitioners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials and assessments for Bachelor of Community Services courses.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment outcomes.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on all unit learning outcomes.
- Identify students at risk of failing and coordinate appropriate support measures.
- Respond promptly to student enquiries via email.
- Engage in teaching evaluations and pursue professional development in innovative teaching methods.
Required profile
- Professional background as a Case Worker, Social Worker, Youth Worker, Psychologist, Counsellor or Community Welfare Worker.
- Experience working in higher education or delivering training to adult learners.
- Demonstrated high ethical standards, self‑management, resilience and collaborative behaviour.
