Lecturer (B) - Reproduction and Developmental Biology

About the role

Adelaide University is offering a full-time, continuing Teaching and Research position in the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Science, based in the Adelaide CBD. The role sits within the Discipline of Reproduction and Development and offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant biomedical research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to curriculum development, lecture delivery, tutorial facilitation and course coordination for undergraduate courses covering Reproduction and Developmental Biology, Developmental Origins of Health and Assisted Reproductive Technologies.
• Develop a research program that strengthens research capacity within the school, attracts Category 1 research funding and supports research training for students.

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to reproductive biology or developmental biology.
• Demonstrated experience delivering lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations and workshops in reproductive/developmental biology.
• Proven contribution to research projects, including publications, grant applications and/or project management.
• Experience supervising undergraduate, honours and graduate research students.
• Ability to perform administrative functions related to teaching and research.
