Learning Support Team Leader

About the role

The Learning Support Team Leader (LSTL) joins the College Leadership Team at ACC Singleton, overseeing the Learning Support Team and shaping school‑wide systems for diverse learners. The role is pivotal in managing the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and ensuring every student is well known, well loved, and well taught.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the Learning Support Team, fostering reflective practice.
• Manage all NCCD processes, staff allocations and resource use with precision.
• Create high‑quality Individual Plans (IPs) and identify appropriate adjustments for each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, external specialists and senior leadership to drive school‑wide improvement.
• Implement Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI) and explicit instruction frameworks.
• Collect, analyse and act on student data to design targeted intervention programs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NCCD compliance and reporting.
