Learning & Development Specialist – Leadership Development

About the role

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist focused on leadership development. The role will help grow future leaders, enhance employee experiences and support business success through targeted learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver leadership and capability programs.
• Support talent management, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement and organisational effectiveness projects.
• Facilitate workshops, training, and development activities.
• Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and development opportunities.
• Use data and insights to recommend solutions and measure success.
• Support change initiatives and embed best‑practice organisational development strategies.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of Learning & Development or Adult Learning Principles.
• At least 5 years of experience in Leadership Development and Capability Development or similar.
• Tertiary qualification in Education, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology or related fields (advantageous).
• Coaching and profiling qualifications (highly regarded).
• Strong knowledge of leadership theories, talent management practices, adult learning principles and emerging trends.
• Advanced facilitation skills.
• Exceptional communication and customer‑focus with the ability to influence and build relationships across the organisation.
